Enitan finds the true history of her ancestors extremely uplifting and a source of great pride. She researches African history with her parents in books and on the internet. Enitan’s Braids is about an occasion when she was having her hair braided by her parents and auntie and the images of the glorious past of Africa that she saw on the internet and imaged from the facts that she read. She looked forward to sharing her research with her friends.
Enitan’s Braids is the first of a series, by Dark Books, for young people with an interest in the truth about the history of Africa and the continent’s people both in Africa and those dispersed around the World.
